Oregon and Pacific Northwest cheese makers are working to develop new markets and increasing exports to Asia. Cheese exports hit a high in May, even with a drop in sales to China as retaliatory tariffs continue. Growing disposable income in the prime Asia markets is likely to support the continued growth in demand for new varieties of cheese over the next few years. This is one of Asia’s leading food and hospitality trade shows. By the numbers, this 4-day event showcases 2800 exhibitors from 74 countries, with more than 42,000 visiting trade buyers.
